With Northern charm and natural wittiness, Ashten’s musical performance touches a place in everyone’s heart.

Ashten began singing and writing songs around the time she learned her ABCs! She taught herself the guitar at age 11 and quickly discovered a love of performing arts in school. She went on to study Musical Theatre at the Guildford School of Acting and has since travelled the world singing opera, musical theatre, jazz and pop music.

 She has played leading roles such as Sarah in Guys and Dolls, Mrs Meers in Thoroughly Modern Millie, and Elphaba in Forbidden Broadway.

With a love for travel, Ashten has also enjoyed five years as a cast member and guest entertainer on luxury cruise ships with Viking Ocean and Holland America, where she took her one woman show worldwide.

From an early age Ashten taught herself to play instruments, to speak languages, dancing, acting and digital music production skills. Today she has built a successful vocal coaching business and trains budding performers all over the world.

 With a love for songwriting, she just released her first single: ‘Bitten’,  and is working on an album this year.

Proficient in singing opera, jazz, pop and musical theatre music.  She also plays piano and guitar. Ashten is undeniably versatile and has a wide vocal range.  She can perform any genre with flair and will fill any theatre to the brim with passion and energy.

She is also one third of a female harmony trio The Sass Sisters who perform unique close harmony arrangements and is entirely self accompanied. The trio have performed at events such as Standon Calling Festival and in 2019 hosted ‘An Evening With the Sass Sisters’.
